Delightful Experience, Delicious Dumplings! Plenty of food on offer, with great sized servings and a variety of dishes. The Dumplings are tasty-tasty steamed or pan fried. The service was great even with a full house. The noise of the crowd can be a little overbearing but manageable.
Always very, very good quality and well priced Chinese food. Try the dry shredded chilli beef and 小笼包 (steamed pork dumplings). The service is quick (albeit somewhat minimal), but the food will keep me coming back whenever I'm in Canberra
So delicious! I’ve ordered from Dickson Dumpling House twice recently, and both times were superb. I was especially impressed with the attention to allergies. I’d recommend making an order over the phone for pick-up rather than using apps.
Really good chinese restaurant. It can get busy so reservation is a must, but walk-ins are welcome. Their shredded beef is one of the better ones i tried. The dumplings are ok but nothing extraordinary. Would definite come back again if it’s not busy!
Busy restaurant, but food came out in good time, tasty and the dumplings steamed and fried were amazing. The atmosphere good, casual and lively. Not rushed etc. Staff very attentive and multiple wait staff on shift which helped with service.
Very cheap but ordinary food. I was expecting a lot more from the dumplings considering the name. We tried three different types and the wrappers were quite thick and the flavour was pretty ordinary. The rest of the food was also decent, but not great. Generous portion sizes for the price.
Casual and really tasty! I just wish the vegetarian options were labelled on the in-store menu.
