We recently hired a car from Hertz but got a cracked windscreen. Craig from the Devonport office was very helpful and reassuring. Will definitely hire from Hertz again after such a good experience.

Fantastic - rescued us after a disastrous experience with another car rental agency! We ended up catching taxis and the bus from Launceston to Devonport after narrowly avoiding being drastically overcharged (930 for a small vehicle for 3 days, and almost impossible to cancel). We needed to travel multiple times to a location just outside of Devonport, so the short-notice offer of a vehicle usually used by one of the staff (cleaned and ready in the 5 mins it took us to walk to the office), for 2 days at a reasonable price, was very much appreciated! Never experienced such generosity and friendly, quick, no-fuss service from a car hire company (especially when there seemed to be no other vehicles available across the northern part of the state, and the only company with one available online was unapolagetically profiting from the situation by tripling their prices).. Definitely recommend Hertz Devonport!

What a great experience! I bought my new car from here this afternoon and the service was excellent and so friendly. I bought my last car from Hertz which is why I returned...that too was a painless experience. No haggling or pressure, just great customer service. Kathy went out of her way to help and even managed to get me a trade in on my dear old car, which I wasn't actually expecting. Thank you to Kathy and her colleague who was also a cheerful and helpful gentleman. Will always recommend Hertz over other used car sales.
The bus we hired was clean and in good condition we got an amazing deal, thankfully there was a cancellation and I was able to hire the last mini-bus for a party of 9 the day before we arrived on 03/04/15 Easter Friday. The staff member (Craig) was the nicest gentleman to deal with to collect keys for the car and also helped me book it the day prior. When I queried some charges that I didn't understand the Administration Officer and the Devonport team provided a quick response. Hertz has a very friendly and professional team at the Devonport Car Hire Office and the next time we take a break in Tassie we will be sure to hire from Hertz again.
Really helpful staff, came back & opened up office after hours to get us a car. Couldn't be more grateful!
