My son's favourite dessert place. He knows exactly what he wants and budgeted to take me there for Mother's Day. The place is cosy and spills out into the mall. It serves hot and icy cold desserts with snack or supper options. Sllllurrrrpppp!
It's the all about Taiwanese desserts! Shaved ice, porridge, bubble tea and many more. I love coming back here when I crave the glutinous rice balls in ginger soup. My junior would hit the shaved ice dessert regardless the weather. Friendly staff, well-priced and portions. Can be difficult to get a seating as it's quite a small shop. Decor is pretty interesting, as it reminds me of going to my Chinese medicine shop: lots of small drawers! There's also savoury food. The Taiwanese hamburger is interesting... So, give it a go!
Great varieties of desserts... tasted nice too... authentic "asian feel"... lots of seatings both within the shop & outside. Price may be a bit costly but considering the location & taste of desserts... it's still worth it. Also they sell hot food too and not just dessert. We tried a few of them and to me they are all above average which are pretty good.
The shaved ice is not as smooth as Pomato spoon’s Korean dessert but the strawberry shaved ice that i tried is very refreshing!
Delicious, refreshing and well made Taiwanese dessert that I have been wanting to try for weeks. I had the cold dessert bowl of taro & sweet potato balls, tapioca pearls and grass jelly. All components were exceptionally in quality, though for the typical Asian tastebuds, I would prefer it even less sweet. I will try the hot version in the future and will request them to not add any cow's milk as I am lactose intolerant. One minus point is the service. The waitress at the counter was polite in taking my order but I would prefer if they could at least say a thank you or bye bye when I left the shop. More eye contact and a smile would also be better when serving dishes.
My wife and I ordered the 8 Treasure Shaved/Crushed Ice dessert to share A large helping for 10 dollars. Tasted good
I do not know about a few years ago, but this was a nice treat. Iced treat with fruit. A little sweet for mine (our) taste. But a great little treat while out shopping and walking the mall. We tried other places there. And the shops are all nice, thought common to Malls. Great place to walk about and shop. Nice vendors and chain stores.
