We used Design A Robe for 2 of our properties, we are super happy with the work and the service provided. James and Bob were super professional, they left the place tidy when the job was complete. I would recommend these guys without hesitation.

Worst trade experience ever. Stay away. Person who did the measure and quote got one of the measurements wrong, which meant the wardrobe did not fit. Rather than owning it and making it right, Owner (Elias) was aggressive and did everything he could to avoid correcting issues / remaking doors. Ended up having to go to FairTradeNSW to try and resolve. Owner made more promises to FairTrade that turned out to be the same lies I have heard from them before. 9 months later and I still don’t have a finished wardrobe and I have had to pay to have the walls around my wardrobe replastered and painted due to damage done by installer. Update Jan 2020 - eventually gave up on trying to get Design a robe to complete job and paid a different company 1500 to make the 2 doors that design a robe never delivered dispite being paid for. Honestly, design a robe’s actions in this instance (and appears to be others) are criminal. If I had the time the right thing to do would be to take this further in court and hopefully prevent others going though this.
From the moment we engaged Design-A-Robe through to the installation, Elias, Elie, Mona & Bobby have been fantastic to deal with. We have done a lot of renovations and new developments in the past, and only sorry we hadn't stumbled across them sooner! They came as a referral to us by a work colleague, so I can only refer them on to all of you as we were very happy with the quality and pricing. Nothing was too much trouble. We used them for a WIR area for the main bedroom and built-ins for 2 upstairs bedrooms. They matched the robe doors to our internal bedroom doors perfectly. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will certainly be using them again.
Please consider another company and do not use this business! Post Customer service is non-existent. Great service at the quoting stage, but once the job is locked in, terrible customer service. Communication is very poor, no emails and very few phone calls were ever returned. Our project scope consisted of three parts, the main new wardrobe, additional shelving for this new wardrobe and additional shelving for an existing wardrobe. Our large new wardrobe was installed late last November 2017, finishes are satisfactory, but the additional shelves were missing. There is also a gap between the wardrobe and the brick wall on both sides that needed attention. The additional shelves for our existing wardrobe were installed towards the end of the day; the workmanship was very poor; the shelves did not fit properly and the holes that were drilled – too large, all was done in a hurry. Shelves kept falling down. (Ultimately, my husband and I bought L-shaped steel brackets and secured all shelves ourselves.) At the end of installation day, I was assured superior, post-customer service (as outlined on their web site) and that all would be completed in due course. Note, we had paid in full. Since late November last year none of my emails have been acknowledged or responded to, and none of my many calls have ever been returned; no one has contacted me about outstanding project matters. The one time I did speak to the installer about delivery of outstanding delivery of shelves on a particular date, this did not happened. Take note Elias, both remain unfinished and incomplete to date.
Dear Elias please come to fix that door.I can not use a wardrobe. And mirror sit dangerously unsupported. It is second week of constant calling. Not much help from you side. Please take that door back.Honestlywe were very happy with price and quality from begining.It did change my bedroom . Had a little bit difficulties to arrange installation from the beginning. But eventually Amid (sorry if wrong spelling) did very nice accurate job.We had not easiest case - not many companies wanted to do shallow drawers by depth as if runners not standard(40cm) it cost much more. Design a Robe could do it as they do kitchen drawers.Love triple track for my walk in robe. They did for us as well big size frameless mirror door. True one door came with bended edge- they fixed during the week and brought it in evening. No scratched flooring , not much cleaning after. Thanks very much. Four stars just in case. Well done.
Design A Robe created fantastic joinery solutions for 4 rooms in our house. Eli and Bob were meticulous in their detail and really cared about delivering a product that we were happy with. Highly recommended for quality, customer service and good value.
From start to finish I have nothing but high praise for Design A Robe. They designed and installed 2 wardrobes, a Linen Cupboard along with an extra storage cupboard. Their advice and ideas complimented what I had already come up with. I am so happy with the end result that I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Elias, Tracey and Bob.
Highly recommended! I had a very large wardrobe installed (3x3.5m) in a federation apartment and it is perfect. Excellent craftsmanship and no hassle installation. I am now in the process of ordering an entertainment unit through the same company.
