I visited the Dept of Transport's office in Cleveland today to renew my licence. Social distancing was in place and hand sanitiser was available. The person who greeted customers was welcoming and very efficient. I didn't have to wait very long for my number to be called. The clerk who issued me with my new temporary licence and took my new licence photo was a pleasure to do business with. So, overall an excellent experience. Thanks.

Went in for some transfer of rego paperwork, had been in there for similar work around a year ago and the service was awesome, this time it was even better - lightning does strike twice.. had some complicated paperwork to sort out involving registration transfers and 2 personalised plates. I was getting frustrated with the paperwork, but Rekha at the counter was great, sorted it out, explained what was needed patiently. I then found I needed one more signature from a co-owner, had to leave and came back after 30 minutes and she went out of her way to assist till it was all resolved, a place of business is defined by the service at it's frontline and I have invariably had a great experience at this office eveytime in the past 10 years when I have had to go in - Great work once again.

If Centrelink and a gaol had a baby. Astheticaly this would be it. Horrid set up, looks incredibly shabby. Pales on Service NSW. Thankfully the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Went to Cleveland TMR and learnt it’s not the place to go if you have a caravan. Almost impossible to get your Van in the car park let alone find an area to park so you can get measured By the TMR staff with the new IGA store next door. The TMR provides this service but can’t provide the safe space to park ?!?!? Save your time and go elsewhere or pay for a HVRAS (135).

Dealing with Government Departments can be quite traumatic, and I have to admit to some trepidation when I recently had to go in to complete some work for a company. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed and efficiency by which the whole process was completed, in no small part due to Shania, the customer service consultant I dealt with. The surprising part was, I had to go back a few days later for some additional work and lucked out a second time, lightning does strike twice. Quick professional service as standard is quite admirable, thank you

My favourite government office, ok so only comparison is Medicare but still really good. You can get through pretty easily, have questions answered and usually fit in a laugh or two with the staff.
