If I could give 0 star I would. Incompetent and rude staff. I went in to get my identification verified for my learners license. On the website they said temporary visa is one form of accepted category A document. I printed my visa grant letter out but was turned away as they said it’s not accepted. They didn’t mention why it’s not accepted and just said we cannot accept it without further explanation. I then ring them later on but the phone line was cut and could get through. When I finally called the main contact centre. The lady Michelle don’t know why the visa is not accepted. After checking with her colleague, she said department of immigration stopped issuing visa label since 2015 and said any visa after that will not be accepted. I said so what about people getting digital visas. She simply responded that no newly issued visa will be accepted after 2015. Is this for real as it’s clearly listed on the website that temporary visa is accepted. Can anyone advise what is true??? Or at least take temporary visa out from the website as a valid category A document. Very disappointed at the service and being turned away without reasonable answer!

Not enough parking, website did not tell me what to bring or that I needed a roadworthy to transfer interstate rego. Worker also seemed incompetent

Clean, well-organised office with friendly staff. Felt welcome by the smiling security guard and Holly who was particularly helpful. Although there was a paperwork issue that prevented immediate progress for what I wanted to do, Holly made sure it's followed up and then called to let me know when it was resolved so I could continue by phone without having to go back to the office. Great overall experience :)

Great experience at the motor registry this morning. Kim was on the ball, fabulous service, charming sense of humour and made the whole experience fantastic. The security guard was also in great form enforcing the social distancing and sprinting after me when I walked out without collecting my change. Well done everyone.

Went to renew my drivers today. Treated like an inconvenience by staff member. Didn’t want to get off her chair to organise to update my photo. Tone of voice, no smiling, but took my money and told me to have a nice day after she was rid of yet another customer. Horrendous.
