Approached local council about nasty pot hole on the side of the road coming in to our town. Several months later, they advised us its a Highways road, not their problem. I rang Transport dept, told they would get right on to it. Thats about 3 weeks ago. Do we have to take a trailer load of gravel in ourselves? Oh, thats right, this isn't the city, so wlho cares.

My point i want to make.i used to catch the bus 230 232 bus stop 13 to and from to arndale Kilkenny several times a week. It went Harrison road to pym St then days road to regency iroad. Now with the road works people have to walk to Torrens road why think of the elderly people on walking frames we have a lot of old age people in the surrounding areas would the government workers catch a bus train or tram i personally think so. I think a petition signed by the people might be a waste of time. I myself have approached my member of parliament peter maluskas office and spoke to them. We have a community bus service only available to take the people shopping only a few days a week runs and finishes at 12 30 p m.we have a right to voice our opinion .people have a right to speak up.

Refuses to listen to public consultation. Today after almost 1 week since the bike and parking lanes were introduced to Port Rd between Tapleys Hill and Colston St Cheltenham restricting Port Road to 2 lanes each way I finally saw a cyclist. The 1.4m YES MILLION DOLLAR 20 litre can of white paint used must be faulty as the cyclist was riding in the parking lane. I am up and down 4-5 times a day and this is the first cyclist I have spotted. Another great use of tax payers money by this new Government. What next?
