When I was looking around for a Martial art for My Son I wanted something that would give him discipline and a sense of self worth while learning to defend himself if he was being bullied Choi Kwang Do is a Martial Art with an approach to life of each student is there to be better than them selves and not matched up to be better than any other student and this philosophy struck the right cord for me. After signing him up for classes and being there watching how this school conducted the classes I found the Instructor team warm and friendly not just to the students but also to the Mums and Dads sitting on the sides this school really has a family feel keeping all that are there involved and informed I was that Impressed that I joined to help with My Fitness and also Self defense this is a way of life now for my Son and I as I am currently the Oldest student and now one of the Head Instructors at this school I challenge anyone of any age to come check this school out and start a new approach to life by joining our CHOI KWANG DO family Your First step to a Black Belt is to sign up and keep coming to classes Remember a Black Belt is a White Belt that has not given Up SEE YOU SOON

My son and I have been training here for about a year now. The instructor team are welcoming and provide a great family atmosphere. Choi is a fun and safe martial art to learn for all ages. There are plenty of sessions available throughout the week which allows us to train together despite my shift work. Highly recommended.

I am a 40 (ish) year old member of this Martial Arts School and only began as a novice around 2 years ago. I thoroughly enjoy each and every class and spending time with all involved. Great respect is given and received from the beginners through to the highest ranked members of the school. I'm currently working toward my black belt and expect to continue long after.

I have been training here for almost 2 years, and I still enjoy it, I'm not bored of it, never have been, and I am 100% sure that I never will be. Everyone there is amazing, super friendly, and you'll get along with everybody you meet.

My wife over six years ago seen this martial art program and came home and discussed with me that she wanted our daughter to learn some self defence, while I was skeptical at first when we took Erin to her first lesson we could see that it could be something Erin would do , and stick with she was never ever going to play a sport like netball ect so wee needed to get her into something Erin started to become much more confident I was taking her to all the classes ever day and was approached by many people saying you are sitting here why wouldn’t you join, I was 135 kgs at the time and didn’t think I was Fit enough to do a martial art , well guess what 4.5 years on not only did I take that first step and join Choi Kwang Do but now I am fitter than ever, and have taken the next challenge in my life completing my first black belt exam and now a head instructor teaching others of this amazing martial art while learning about bettering my skill level and being a great role Model to others. Both my daughter who now also has completed her black belt at 11 years of age, she has also joined the journey in her life and is now in the junior instructor program. Learning and helping others train. The school owners, instructors and assistant instructors are a group of amazing people , they care for each other, and for all there or should I say our students , we see the good in people , and love working with all students young and all. So if you are looking for something to do while you are sitting at home doing not much ,why not come down look at what we do , have a free intro session you won’t regret it , soo you there , Allan Northey
