Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a holiday away from the family you'll meet a lot of like minded people there,they have a range of activities for you to do which include playing cards and board games.. You can come and get fit at the state of the art gym facility and indoor sports arena..the rooms aren't that spacious but you can make it feel like home during your stay,they house a 5 star restaurant chef so you know that the food is amazing!!! I asked for a single room when i booked but someone else booked at the same time as me so we had to share that's the only downside

This is bad place.
The maître d'hôtel was rude, the food was served cold, and there was a huge stain on the floor right in the middle of my room.When i tried to complain to the front desk they told me "it was part of the charm" - HA, as if...! And then they wanted to charge me for the little shampoo in the shower! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
It's a prison, didn't expect to enjoy it
Troubles at Arthur Gorrie - Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) said the prison needed to fix problems with "feeding them, medicating them, rubbish removal, washing their clothes and bedding and potentially allowing them access to phone calls to families and friends" ABC report 1 Sep 2020
