We had a fantastic time there today on their horse drawn cart. We got up close and personal with a lot of animals and Rachael our driver was awesome very knowledgeable and fun. It's the best zoo we have visited in a long time. The animals are so well loved and cared for and look really happy.

Great place to go. Very different than other zoos where they show you the animals sleeping or very far from you. In Altina, they feed the animals while the tour is happening and they come near the fence. Very cool to see the lions and other wild animals. This is the best wildlife park.

Where to start with? A unique experience to see wildlife animals. We did horse cart tour at 1pm, as tours run 9am or 1pm. Its 35 minutes drive from Griffith city. My family and kids loved it. The best highlight was lions and hyenas enclosures, lion roars and feeding was a great experience. Less said! I highly recommend this tour....

Really good, was chuffed to discover something like this in the area... tour guides were very informative and fun... animals are mostly all rare and on their way out... so this is Altinas way of helping build the populations back up again... will definitely be back...

What a great place. All animals look very well cared for, and staff are very friendly and helpful. You do need to book though.

Did the motorised tour and learned more about the different wildlife and species. Our tour guide was really good in explaining the different animals, Altina as an institution and the cause they are supporting, and the way they look after their animals. Very unique zoo and well kept. Highly recommend activity for adults and kids alike!

Great small group tours with wide variety of animals you definitely won’t see anywhere else! Why go to Dubbo or Sydney when it’s all here!

Was excellent! Our tour guide Jarrod, was very good, knowledgeable and we loved that we got to see him feed the animals! My 8yr and 5yr old had a great time!
