I am a 62 year old female who suffered left knee paid for many years. After consulting my GP she referred me to her Orthopaedic surgeon at St Vincents clinic. From the onset I felt like I was in good hands. I had a total knee replacement in February 2021. Before I left St Vincents hospital I was walking unaided and had very little pain. At the 6 week recovery point I had no pain at all. I have now returned to all activities pain free. I would highly recommend Dr Tim Small to anyone who has joint issues.

Dr Small performed a bilateral knee replacement on me at St Vincents in Sydney. I couldnt be happier. Anecdotal evidence all proved to be spot on. Out of here 2 weeks with great physio and follow ups for 3 months. His office manager went out of her way to answer my consistent questions. I'm not too sure who's got the better sense of humour me or the doc.

After many years of knee pain and gradually declining mobility I finally decided to take action. My GP and a family member referred me to Dr Tim Small. Tim’s friendly manner from the outset made feel at ease. He explained everything clearly, what needed to be done, the outcomes I could expect, patiently answered my questions and reassured me that the post op pain would be well managed. Cynthia, Tim’s Practice Manager, provided all the information I needed, and I left the surgery trusting in Tim’s expertise. Tim’s care was excellent. He checked up on my progress each day in hospital, again patiently answering questions. The operation and post op care and pain relief were exactly as he had explained. It is now 12 weeks after my total knee replacement, and I am very happy with the outcome. I would thoroughly recommend Tim to anyone requiring knee surgery.

I was lucky enough to find Dr Timothy Small on the internet, im a 48 year old woman who needed x2 total hip replacements and I was nervous. Right from day 1 Dr Small and his Practice manager Cynthia made me feel very welcome and not just a number, nothing was ever too much for Cynthia, she followed up everything I requested. Dr Small was very thorough in his examination and explained everything to me about my operation. I had my Right total hip replacement in December and I recovered very quickly, Dr Small visited me every day to make sure I was comfortable, i was back at work in no pain after 5 weeks, Im booked in on March 25th for my Left hip, im actually excited to get it done. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Small, hes an amazing surgeon with caring and compassion for his patients!! 5 stars all th way

I'd give Dr. Small 6 stars if I could. I just had my post op check up today and for the first time in what seems like forever, I am pain free! Having had an unsuccessful meniscectomy earlier this year with a different surgeon, my expectations were only for some level of improvement. I read the reviews about Dr. Small and decided to give him a go. My experience with him and his staff have been nothing but a pleasure. I could not recommend him more. Thank you!

Dr Tim and his secretary Cynthia are life savers! I've had two major surgeries and both went smoothly. Couldn't ask for a more highly skilled surgeon with a great personality. Post op results have been miraculous. Thank you.

I met Tim on July 15 this year. I have had breast cancer with bone metastasis for nine years. I am now 59 years old. I began experiencing groin pain and had difficulty weight bearing. I had spent an entire day in emergency in a NSW regional hospital. The registrars proposed urgent surgery without informing my husband and I as to the details and how it was related to my symptoms. After that traumatic day, my oncologist referred us to Dr Tim Small. What a contrast! Tim walked us through all of my scans and showed us a fracture in my femur was imminent. He carefully explained the proceedure of a femeral rod and nail, and showed recent xrays of one he had performed. We requested bloodless surgery which posed no problem to Tim or his team. Surgery was scheduled for July 17. What an amazing man! Reasuring, caring, very sympathic to cancer patients, and professional. The surgery itself was as neat as a pin. Four very small cuts along my leg. Healed beautifully. Pain free within a couple of weeks. In my opinion Tim is a master surgeon.
