A day with Eastsail was a memorable day I'll never forget. We sailed around Sydney Harbour enjoying famous landmarks and learning new sailing skills (first time back on the water in a long time). Stefan, the instructor, was personable and down to earth. His sailing expertise was obvious and it's clear he enjoys teaching. The yacht was new and in great condition. Unbelievable how quickly the time went! Definitely will do again. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a first class experience with a first class instructor/sailing school.

Outstanding experience! A brilliant combination of active sailing - winching on the sails, taking the helm under the excellent instruction of the skipper, and relaxing with a few beers and nice wine. The best way to truly experience the harbour! 4 hrs recommended!
White the instructor that we had for our 2 day course was good, the East Sail school was pretty disorganised. We found it hard to find more info about the course - going into reception and calling up - the staff seemed to lack basic knowledge of the courses. Our certificates weren’t ready at the end of the course. The boat wasn’t very well maintained and was a mess when we arrived on day one with ropes everywhere - felt like a lesson in what NOT to do. The experience was thankfully made positive by the great instructor that we had.
Hired a boat for half a day, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Were adequately briefed and were touring the harbour in no time, enjoying the little coves and bays. Will be back.
Great service. We booked the overnight option, food was awesome, skipper was great, all round fantastic weekend
I love getting on the water for a bareboat charter and invite friends to enjoy a sailing experience with me, however it was a really poor experience for everyone on this occasion. I must say the people in the office were overly compensation for the booking issues, same with the team who did the vessel brief and return, they were really positive and helpful. However, the booking system was terrible, the vessel was in poor condition and speaking with one of their representatives when trying to resolve the booking was really unpleasant. I had to call multiple times to try confirm the booking and dates, I received email confirmations saying zero balance owning, then emails with outstanding balances, then arrived to board the boat on Saturday with a zero balance owing again……… Given we all brought swimmers and towels to enjoy being on the water, then realising the ladder was not available to climb back on board was terrible. Thankfully the correct one was dropped out to us at 5:30pm but our guests had stepped off by then. Then there were other issues which just added to the poor experience. Nav instruments not working properly, brown water to flush the head, revolting water in the galley, guests not wanting to drink the water! When we finished our charter and informed the team of all the issues, nobody offered any compensation, no discount, just a sorry! We paid decent money for a sail on Sydney harbour, with the intent to have a boat in good condition, have a good time with friends and to be able to have a swim. I don't believe we got what we paid for on this occasion.
We celebrated our parent’s 60th wedding anniversary aboard YARRANABBE, also with our aunt who was in a wheelchair. 15 of us in total. We were able to self cater food and drinks. Plenty of space upstairs, at the bow, but more importantly, the back area was large enough for us all to sit down together for dinner. The waitstaff and crew just made the day perfect. Friendly, efficient, professional, and very COVID safe. Thank you sincerely to all the Eastsail team. Highly recommend.
Excellent experience! Totally enjoyed trip and most the great education content . Eastsail always has great instructors!
