I mistakenly ordered from this place instead of Pakwaan as I previously had problems with the food quality of Payal.. Its always the inconsistency that has been disappointing and secondly the Garlic naan they serve, their chefs/cook most certainly need to know how the garlic naan is made and how it looks. The naan they served was unbelievably big and thick and soggy. It was no close to Naan. I would not recommend this place and if the call authentic Indian restaurant they need to think again and learn what defines authentic.

Used to visit this place regularly years ago. Returned after 6 years. Went on a Wednesday night when there were only a few diners, but took a long time to arrive. No problems with waiting for good food, the food was not hot and taste was average. We could not finish what we ordered. Quite and rustic.

This is by far my friends and my families FAV Indian restaurant!! We have been coming to Payal for years!! And though we have tried every other Indian restaurant you can think of, including one my friend owns, it is without a doubt my FAV place to go to satisfy my cravings!!! Its family run and owned by a father and his children! Whom are so friendly! Always the best service, the MOST tastiest food we have ever had!! And so thankful its our local too and within our 5km radius which is perfect for pick up during covid!!

Ordered naan for takeaway and came to realise that naans were very old , dry and reheated and given. It nowhere seems to be freshly baked naans

I went to this restaurant yesterday afternoon to get few takeaway the service was amazing - i am very impressed with that young man in the counter his customer service is excellent and of course the food is absolutely delicious and thank you for the complimentary pappadams . A true Gem in the heart of Dandenong. Kris

We have been getting takeaway and dining in for 3 years and have never been disappointed. Best Indian restaurant in Victoria. The food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly! Do yourself a favour and try for yourself
