Overview Dan Kitchens Australia is a maker of high quality custom kitchens and joinery. Danish in origin, the design and business philosophy follows that of its homeland. Through Dan Kitchens, Australians can enjoy kitchens of remarkable quality and Scandinavian elegance . History Dan Kitchens was founded in 1981 by Danish-born cabinetmakers Benny and Vagn Madsen. Both had a passion for great quality and design. Their goal was to provide joinery of the highest standard to the Australian market. Initially the company imported quality HTH kitchens from Denmark and assembled it at their Sydney factory. After 4 years of successful operation the brothers went there separate ways, with Vagn Madsen retaining the business. Frustrated with restrictive modular sizes, limited finishes and supply line delays, Dan Kitchens Australia went on to establish a production facility in Girraween. They were now free to produce their own extensive range of high quality, custom-made joinery. That same year Jan Peitersen, a Danish born Cabinet Maker (formerly of PP Møbler) joined the company as a business partner with Vagn Madsen. Together, they helped grow the brand, with the Dan Kitchens name becoming synonymous with high quality, durability, and clever design. In 1989, the company moved to a much larger purpose built manufacturing facility at Seven Hills, combining manufacturing facility, design studio and showroom. Today, Dan Kitchens continues it's passion for quality and good design.

Fabulous experience from first visit to showroom to installed kitchen. Now we have one that looks just like the one in the showroom. Dan Kitchens have good taste, so you get something that is your choice but has their experience added in. As well as a kitchen, we also had them do a powder room and my wife Nikoo is delighted with the result of both. They did everything they said they would do and did it on time, exactly to the day, no slippage of any kind. The Kitchen was expensive, but then you know this up front, but in the end you get what you pay for and we now have an amazing kitchen with no compromises.

The entire business has customer focus, quality and precision embedded in it from the designers to the production and then installers and even after sales service. They have a well deserved reputation and we are impressed by how they guided us through the initial process with fantastic ideas but without being pushy. The installation process was co-ordinated with punctuality, cleanliness and an incredible attention to detail and high standards that they not only hold themselves to but require of all the builders they work with. Now we are living in our new kitchen we get to constantly admire the fantastic quality of workmanship, great functionality and the ongoing Wow! factor. We definitely recommend Dan Kitchen if you want a high quality, superb result.

From start to finish the team from Dan Kitchens were outstanding. After our first meeting with our designer, Daniel, we knew we were in good hands. Having waited a long time to remodel our kitchen we wanted to make sure we got everything right. The design Daniel came up with was beautiful and very practical. The installation process was seamless. The installation team, led by Tim, were a pleasure to have in our home and the tradespeople organised by Dan Kitchen's were excellent. I was kept well informed every step of the way. Our site was left clean every day without exception and they finished ahead of schedule! I can't recommend them highly enough. The quality of the cabinetry and hardware is supreme. I can't speak highly enough of our experience.

It's a joy to spend time in the kitchen that Dan Kitchens designed for us. Everything is just so incredibly well thought through.The attention to detail is phenomenal - and we noticed this from our first meeting with Dan Kitchens. The soft glide of the drawers, the logic of what is located where, how all our spices fitted perfectly in the custom spice racks. I find myself wiping everything down all the time because I want to keep it as pristine as possible!
