Had a celebratory dinner at Dalmatino yesterday. I must say the food exceeded our expectation. Caterina and Liz have created an amazing atmosphere at the restaurant, perfect for a special dinner. We were greeted by friendly staff. Had ample of options on the menu to choose from. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be returning.

Great friendly service. Beef cheeks were nice and tender

First time eating Croatian food - the overall meal was a bit too stodgy for my preference but the beer cheeks were amazingly tender - could eat without ever needing a knife. Everyone else seemed to enjoy what they ordered

The food was a bit hit and miss, the staff were very nice, but the music was quite loud.

Loved it! The service was amazing, we felt very well looked after. Staff are very friendly and professional. The food is very homely, and absolutely delicious. I do wish it were warmer inside though. Regardless, I am definitely going back!

NOTE - this review was done when the original owner owned it. It has now been sold to some Feminists. I will leave my original review but i no longer recommend this place. This has been my favourite restaurant for a good 10 years. I love the atmosphere (romantic), food (Mediterranean) and service. It has only recently, for the first time in its existence, changed ownership from a Croatian couple to two ladies, one Italian and the other Maltese. They have kept the interior romantic atmosphere, added extra items to the menu that, at least to me, appear like great choices. If you’re Croatian, you might be a little disappointed because it’s not what you’ve been used to, but I have embraced the new editions to the food menu, although I’d like to see more Croatian foods returned, along with the Croatian wines - After also, Dalmatino is a region of Croatia and should keep its culture. The only thing I was disappointed in was the customer service. The owner was great and experienced but the other staff lacked simple hospitality functions such as sitting us down with a menu, bringing out salt and pepper and making us wait longer than 10 minutes to ask us for drinks. But don’t let that hold you back, new ownerships come with new challenges and stability will eventually prevail, so go check this gem out for yourself and write your own review.

We have been trying to call this restaurant for the past couple of weeks to book in for a birthday lunch for our family. The number calls out and goes to a voicemail/text message service. We have left messages with no return calls. It is so easy in this day & age to have a voice message stating why you are not open. Really disappointing as we were looking forward to trying this with our extended Maltese family.
