Overall a good experience. It is a short 30km drive from Kathrine to the caves. The only way to see the caves is through a guided tour otherwise it is not safe to let people in on their own. You can purchase tickets for the tour at the kiosk at the parking area at the caves. They have EFTPOS. From memory it's 25 entry fee. The caves themselves are pretty huge & awe inspiring. Extremely dark, without the remote control lighting managed by the tour guide it would be impossible & dangerous to enter the caves. In some places the passage is pretty narrow, causing one to shuffle through sideways. It is not suitable for mobility impaired people. The tour guide knew his stuff & imparted interesting information. It's worth a visit.

Amazing caves and the guide is terrific. He is showing each and every details, especially the thing you may have missed. He knows his caves and know how to make the tour interesting, with anecdotes and historical references. Worth spending a couple of hours there when in the region.
Excellent guide but the caves aren't as beautiful as those at Yanchep National Park (Crystal Caves). Worth a visit though.
Was excited to see the caves. Drive out to find the gates locked and a large closed sign on the gates. Disappointed as this was my only chance to see them
These caves are a must see if in Katherine. They are approximately 30klm away and coupled with Ben our guide he made sure he explained everything about the caves and the tiny visitors that inhibit them. The caves are spectacular especially when torchlight is shone on certain stalactites. A very enjoyable couple of hours spent there.

Tour guide (jamie) was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Information given was really interesting and informative. We now have a greater appreciation for something as simple as a cave.
Tour guide was super knowledgeable. A
