Not only is the house impeccable with every detail taken care of but also we were lucky enough to have the wonderful host herself come and join a few of our classes and she couldn’t be more welcoming If you are looking for a getaway with friends. Somewhere to host a retreat or the most beautiful setting for a wedding - this is it! Can’t wait to come back

What an amazing house and garden is at Curraweena House in Kurrajong NSW. From the moment you enter the property you feel relaxed and ready for your getaway adventure. The house has a lovely feel to it and the rooms are a great size with a calming neutral decor. You have everything you need for your family and friends with beautiful picturesque Kurrajong Village nearby.
A beautiful house to stay with families or friends as there are so many spaces within the property for both children and adults. Relaxing in the gardens or on the verandas was a favourite even with the very wet weather we experienced. Nothing is too much for the owners who went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. This is our second visit to this property and it is better than ever, and exactly as described.
Curraweena house is an excellent place to have a yoga retreat, my expectations were met tenfold, my guest thoroughly enjoyed their stay over the Easter weekend and the I would recommend this venue to any other facilitators, teachers or groups to check out this eastablishment.
We had our small intimate wedding at Curraweena House and we honestly could not have found a better location. We got married in a little church on the hill nearby then walked back to have the reception set up in the barn. It is the most amazingly beautiful house with luxurious fittings and features. The property and location is so peaceful and picturesque, there are so many amazing places for photos. The owners are lovely to deal with and very helpful, they also own the house next door which meant there is space to accommodate 9 couples. We didn't look anywhere else once we found this location and am still so glad that we had our wedding here, it was just perfect (even through it rained all morning as you can see in the overcast picture)!

I recently stayed at Curraweena House to understand whether it would suit us holding a retreat here in the future. We thought the property would be perfect for a retreat for the Sydney Yoga Collective community and we hope to offer a retreat at this special venue in the future. We definitely recommend this venue to retreat leaders looking for a venue not too far from Sydney and for groups from 10-17 guests. Rebecca is an absolute pleasure to deal with and went over and above to ensure comfort and provide information around the retreat. THANK YOU
I held my first Christmas Wreath Workshop in the barn at Curraweena House last week. The event was a sell-out, the vibe in the barn was wonderful and the workshop attendees really enjoyed the barn and the atmosphere that we created for the workshop. I’d highly recommend Curraweena House for other workshops. Rebecca was a dream to work with and so very accommodating.
