It takes about 30 minutes to get to the top and it is worth visiting. The water is clear and cold but there were many people swimming. I can bet that this place is crowded when it is hot. 2 minutes walk from the car park and you can swim already enjoying the fresh air.

Easy access on a paved path with a swimming spot for all at some point along the 1.5k walk. Trout and Salmon in the stream are plentiful and rocks and waterfall "slides" for the more adventurous kids (and adults). Highly recommended.

Love the waterfalls! The water is so fresh, and you can see turtles and fishes. The walk up is easy and the view and swim is worth it!

Love the place highly recommended! There’s another track stirring from the main pools who leads to a more secluded lovely pool. Make sure in this track that you take the route closer to the water (right hand side) and not the fake track on the left that will lead you to uphill endless and pointless climb that will lead you no where!

Beautiful scenery with lots of photo opportunities. There are a few hidden spots away from the main attraction of Crystal Cascades where tree swings are around to have some fun on. Definitely a refreshing pit stop.

This was a beautiful all around experience for us, the walk to the top is only about 1.2kms from the carpark and it is on a nice asphalt path with a slight incline. The entire path runs parallel to the river and is beautiful from start to finish with the river and falls on one side and the magical jungle cliffs on the other. You can pretty much swim at any point along the way with multiple entry points into the river. Take caution as water levels and speeds can change during rain as always... There is also the fairy falls, this is a little unmarked secret hiding at the top end of the carpark next to a sign warning you of stinging plants. This is also a short walk following the creek with a small amount of rock scrambling to find this little hidden gem, the falls are very pretty with a cute small water hole at the base you can swim in. As most people don’t know it’s here it is far less touristy “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

Now that was unexpected but I should have known since it comes highly recommended. Magical spot with plenty of places to swim and enjoy rapids and waterfalls.
