Softwoods built our first pergola 20 years ago. We recently contracted them again to re-engineer our pergola, extend out & build in some screening. It looks amazing & will provide our family many years of extra indoor/outdoor living space to hold all the milestone birthdays & events. Highly recommend.

We wanted decking out the back of house. Softwoods were a very big help. We spoke to Lee Bennett who gave good advice and worked out all the details and price, which we thought was great and also a price for labour, again a good price. Then we dealt with Mitchell Stanley who organised a builder and date for starting,thankyou. The builders were Akym Guelf & Shaun, who also gave good advice and suggested a few changes, and then they started on Monday morning and was finished by Thursday afternoon and not a small job and the step down, looks good too. Really nice guys, easy going and got on with the job, (sorry about the coffee). We both thought they were really professional, neat and tidy and cleaned up after it was finished and the Decking looks really really great, we are very impressed with it. I would Highly recommend Akym & Shaun to anyone for building work. Also would recommend Softwoods at Lonsdale. Thanks again to Lee Bennett, Mitchell Stanley & Akym & Shaun, good job done by all. Angie and I would recommend Softwoods to anyone looking for a pergola. Gary came out and explained the different possibilities to design and build our pergola. Dave built the pergola and was always listening to what we wanted to do and was a perfectionist in what he did, I did my part and supplied him with good coffee during his building process. All the materials came exactly as needed, and exactly on time and the whole process from quote to completion went very smoothly. We are extremely satisfied with the way Softwoods managed everything and with the end result. Thanks to Graham to do the final touch up paint.
Can’t thank the staff (Cameron in particular) enough for all their help with this first-timer to a building project. Helped with all my enquiries and I was very happy with the outcome. I’ll be going back for sure.
