Henry Tugwell was Cronulla’s first Police officer in 1904, in the early days of 1906 when Sutherland Council became responsible for the regulation of bathing and the beach; it was also patrolled by police officer Henry Tugwell, on horseback. (No budgie smugglers for him, the attire of the day were a woollen suit, leather boots and a bowler type hat).

Best restaurant, best food & best staff! I am just in love about them. Went there for the Valentine’s Day and it was just PERFECT! Every dish was unique and so tasty.

Food and service was fantastic. Although we had an 8pm booking and felt a bit rushed. First drinks and round of food all came out and finished withing 30 minutes. Food and drink was awesome but wouldn't mind service a bit slower. We also got told at 850 for last food orders. Didn't want to be in and out that quickly but everything else was awesome.

Great experience! We booked for two and there were sevral groups through on the same night. They had carefully placed us so we weren't right up agianst any of them, but also not tucked away. Excellent cocktails, then onto a great chardonnay. Food was delicious - some creative and well thought out options. The gnocchi special was truly the best gnocchi we have ever eaten. If it is available, I suggest you have it! It is best to ask your waiter, ours was a true champion, and helped us with excellent suggestions. It is very much a sharing style, I would recommend doing it the way they suggest, rather than the standard entree/ mains / desert combo. Excellent service, excellent wine, excellent ambience. No idea why it took us so long to try, we will defitniely be back!!

One of the nicest places to eat in Cronulla, i came here because i had a massive craving for burrata. As you can see they have outdoor seating so dog and pram friendly. Beautiful dishes! Burrata tomato salad

Came to enjoy this place as it had so many gluten free options. We found out that everything is cooked in with gluten and after stating to to the waiter that my partner is celiac he proceeded to serve us food that is not truly gluten free. We spoke to the manager and he seemed to have a short fuse and not open to catering to our needs. I am disappointed by our experience and will not be back. I think two stars is pretty generous.

Average! Food is not great! Overly priced compared to the quality and quantity of food served, particularly mains. Rated 2 as staff are friendly and ambiance is good.
