Just a short walk on a dirt path gets you to the beach with a view of the submarine. At low tide you can walk out further, but the small rocks can be challenging.

The HMAS Otama is a retired Oberon class submarine that is moored off Crib Point. There are plans to turn it into a museum but it is currently moored in the ocean while waiting for approval. Getting there requires a 5min walk from the car park on a trail. While easy, visitors should wear shoes for a more comfortable walk. The beach where you can view the submarine is rocky and has uneven footing so care should be taken. After viewing the submarine, you can head over across the street to the Maritime Museum to view other naval artifacts and learn more about the history of the Otama.
