Lovely place. Good pie but it could have been a little hotter (I was in early so maybe just needed a bit more time in the pie warmer). Coffee was also pretty good.

The Rustic Bakehouse in Cressie is truly a stunning bakery. I have had the privilege if working in some of the finest restaurant's there are and believe me this place is worth the travel, I'm lucky I live close by but even if I lived in Hobart I'd still make the effort of stopping in, the staff are very friendly and the business owner supports local suppliers. I took a picture of what my wife, daughter and I purchased for after lunch so fantastic.
A pie well worth the dollars. Good coffee too. Friendly staff. Shade outside to enjoy. Provided water for dog on their own initiative. Bought bulk cold pies
Very nice salad roll, great coffee, very naughty jam donut, all the cakes looked oversized, we decided to get just one and share. Lovely atmosphere, rustic. Will be back.
I recognise the effort that went I to restoring this old wood fired bakery and the extensive menu on offer. This is a popular place and I am sure a great addition to this little community. If I could recommend some improvements, perhaps add a few more vegetarian options beyond the frittata and the curry filo: mushroom pies or pizza would be great for instance. My second thought was in regards to the donuts. I love a good jam donut and couldn't resist ordering one here given the place is famous for its donuts. The doughnut itself was delicious but I was greatly disappointed by the filling: what exactly is stopping you from replacing this generic, artificial tasting and fluorescent looking liquid with some actual local raspberry jam? This ruined it for me. Lastly, thanks for being open on a public holiday
Rustic bake house is one of my favourite little bake house.. So many good little treats from nutella doughnuts to 6 inch long jam and cream buns.. You can pre order boxs of mixed goodies.. They also have pies, savouries and other food.. But there dessert is delicious.. Just check out their facebook page
Hidden gem, love this bakery and its awesome baked goods and great food. Also great customer service and coffee.
Fabulous bakery, everything looked so delicious. We had toasted sandwiches mine chicken and cheese and it was piping hot and fantastic. Excellent coffee and all served by very friendly staff. We bought 2 loaves a multi grain and a whole meal both high tops and both were lovely.
