Fantastic camp ground in a rainforest setting and right across a unbusy road from a pristine beach. 10 KMs south of Crescent Head but this place is magic as there isn't the crowds! Good amenities with Hot showers (bore water). Great little cafe on-site with healthy choices. Highly recommended.

Cool, campsite right opposite the beach across the road. Bush setting, spots are quite small and you can feel close to your neighbours at times. Relaxed friendly feel. Power worked well, no individual water from tap. Hot water in the shower didn't get warm enough. Cafe, large eating area and kitchenette.
A wonderful experience of nature and ocean in a secluded location. Staff are very friendly and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I was a lone traveller this time but next time will be bringing my family. Thank you.
This campground was set in an idyllic location which utilised nature into the facilities and sites. The staff provided us with a warm welcome and catered to all of our questions and queries. The atmosphere of both the campground and the cafe were vibrant, positive and made our stay so enjoyable! We can't wait to come back to enjoy the candid beaches and blissful getaway!!
Visited waves campground (Delicate Nobby Campground at the time) lots with my family when I was a kid where it became a very special place for us. Have revisited a few times in the last few years and am stoked to see the only changes are positive! The space is beautiful, leafy and lush green and is managed well by the staff. I understand the team do bush and dune regeneration in the area and it's great to know that it's being run with the environment in mind. All the staff are incredibly friendly and it's clear that they enjoy the work and are treated well. The small Cafe serves incredible food and coffee and the shop at the office sells essentials at very reasonable prices. Waves campground is perfect for a couple of nights or to settle in and spend some time in the space. I look forward to visiting again and seeing how it grows.

This is a beautiful natural camping ground, big generous sites, friendly staff, beach across the road, loads of facilities, cafe & stage with grassed arena. Love this place.
