It is really worth going to this day if you can. We really liked the approach and Con did a great job. The pitch deck is the best part and we will use it for our business. I do think though that the three minute pitch is an inadequate model for business propositions that are out of the ordinary. It convinced me that our investors will come from people or organisations that know our sector (i.e. strategically aligned) rather than a fund investing in a broad range of things. Some of the other businesses were really interesting - a day well spent. After feedback I asked some questions and hope to get a response soon.

Looks great on the outside, started great, falls short in details and reality. It's a pity. For the investor seeker, what does CapitolPitch have to offer besides a lot of self endorsements? Jeremy is a really nice young guy and CapitalPitch's poster boy but needs help with his MC skills. Emulating Apple? Not inspiring. Reciting Apple's inspirational words don't impress and show casing a failed juice bar in Singapore doesn't wow entrepreneurs. We need down to earth approachable experienced smart peple to help us get good investors. Emlyn Scott, the banker with an attitude, self centric and ego to boot. Looks smart, hard working, but doesn't engage with potential talents. Too busy looking important. Good hard working team at CapitalPitch. Great success so far with their investment platform. I hope CapitalPitch makes a genuine difference to people with great ideas and spends less time spinning themselves.
