kracken (grilled octopus) and steak&eggs really delicious, excellent coffee (had the Yunnan beans in an oat latte) and watermelon smoothie. definitely one of the better brunch places in Melbourne.

This is easily my favourite brunch place in Melbourne and such a good find! Absolutely adore the grilled octopus and definitely value for money. We ordered delivery once and the portion for dine in is definitely more so would recommend hitting the cafe for it. 10/10 would encourage everyone to go!
Here I ate the BEST avocado brunch I have ever had in my life... ever! It surpassed my expectations and was so surprised to find the vegan option had scrambled tofu which was so delicious in its own right. To top it all off they even added vegan feta. Even the juice was amazing. After recently moving to the area and noticing the large number of vegan items on the menu, I thought I would try this place and now I will definitely be a regular visitor!
The Thai beef salad was quite nice and was a good portion size. The octopus dish was even better though! Only thing is the tables are quite close together and I didn’t feel I was socially distant enough.
COTE TERRA, Oakleigh. We checked out @cote_terra since lockdown eased and it was such a good experience. They are located on station st a hop skip jump from Oakleigh station, and there are lots of seating areas available, including courtyard, inside, outdoor and out back too. . I really enjoyed the chilled and friendly staff, the industrial vibes, and pops of plants ! They have a QR digital menu, contactless ordering and pay system which is so handy and makes it extra awesome during covid times . . Most importantly tho- there was so many options on the menu- and everything we ordered had so much flavour!! the Kraken was the top pick for me- it came with a Perfectly charred octopus, chorizo, feta and more- everything that I love ! The steak and eggs was also bomb- the chilli jam it came with was ultra addictive. We ended on a sweet note with the Peanut Butter French toast which was also ridiculously good. Presentation also on point. . I ordered the usual matcha latte and it arrived with a freaking seahorse I was blown away. Taste wise it was sensational- they were super generous with premium Japanese matcha powder (and only 4.20!) These guys also make their own coffee beans, with merch available in store. Worth a visit for the Eastside residers. The menu is a bit diff but good different. .
Two of us came to Cote Terra cafe in Oakleigh on a Sunday morning for a drink. Although we were seated outside, what I saw of the cafe interior had a lovely atmosphere. Between the two of us, we ordered a peanut butter smoothie and a hot chocolate. Both were served in a timely manner and tasted very nice. Besides the smoothie being a little overpriced, I must say that I was pleased with everything else. Thank you for the experience Cote Terra :)
Lovely place! Great service, solid coffee. The vegan burger is among the best, would definitely recommend. My mates got the arancini, fried chicken burger and Reuben and reported good things. Would definitely come again. I really like the NFC ordering system - it's very smooth and well considered.
**Supports dietary restrictions!** I've been to Cote Terra twice now for brunch and both times incredibly enjoyed the place. They are super ahead of the times and have contactless ordering direct at your table. No more worries about splitting the bill! The menu has beautifully presented pictures so you can really pick exactly what you are craving for. The meals have slight twists to them so it doesn't feel like a run of the mill place, staff always take the time for a human approach with some enjoyable banter, and everything always comes out pretty quickly overall. It's cute, not too busy and absolutely a must go in Oakleigh.
