Larissa at Cosmetics Plus Capalaba is an absolute gem! This is now the second time she has done a piercing for me and she is meticulously clean, very gentle and very calming. Her bright cheerful personality is so welcome, and so rare these days, I highly recommend going to see her if you are looking at getting a piercing done. Great Lady, great store.

I try to find positive things about every place but unfortunately i couldn’t. the lady who pierced my seconds in my ears made them way to close! and she didn’t even ask me where if the dot she made was ok!!! Afterwards i followed what they told me with aftercare. my ears got infected 4 times. their jewellery is very low quality. when i went to my GP she new straight away. she asked “did you get these done at cosmetics plus? because i’ve had alot of people come in with the same issue who got their ears pierced there”. i had to buy different jewellery to the “pure gold” ones they gave me (which was already expensive). please don’t get your piercings done there. i’m sure they have some lovely staff, but for hygiene reasons i would NOT recommend. i ahve recently gotten my thirds and helix done at SkinKandy, much much better!!

Do not recommend getting piercings here, not only did she pierce in the wrong place, she pierce my tragus in the wrong position after I told her I wanted a double tragus and to make sure she leaves room for next tragus which she didn't do, was very unhappy, luckily Skin Kandy was able to fix it for me

In a single session I had my helix, conch & second set of lobe pierced and it was a fantastic experience for me. My piercer, Emily, was incredibly professional and answered all of my many questions and queries. For a safe, hygienic and overall positive piercing experience: I would recommend coming here.

Professional and friendly, I went to Cosmetics Plus to get my ears pierced. Angie was efficient yet gentle. The shop was clean and the area for piercing set up well. These ladies pierce so many ears a day, they know what they're doing. Thanks Angie, I would never have imagined having two pieces of metal put into my body could be such a positive experience.

WARNING - DO NOT GET PIERCINGS OR JEWELERY HERE!!! I went into this shop for piercing jewellery for my labret. I requested internally threaded and the uninformed staff member told me 'they were all internally threaded' which is not the case...they actually had no internally threaded bars. I then mentioned i needed surgical steel as i cannot wear silver (it causes infections and ulcers) and somehow they still supplied me with silver...causing a large, swollen, painful ulcered lip. In addition, the prices are high for the low quality, and they are very limited in stock. Spend ur money at pierceoff.com.au where the prices are much more reasonable. They have a drop down to select only internally threaded!! Its not like what i asked for was obscure, should be well known. Very disapppinted and will not be shopping at cosmetic plus again. Its cheap because the staff are uninformed and not properly trained, and the stock is substandard. Not worth your money or time!!

I got my ears done there with no issue and my nose re pierced (originally got it there the first time)no issues but then wanted to change my stud to a ring and i asked them to do it well it ended up getting infected and i had a staph infection and took 3 lots of anti biotics to fix the staff is lovely and the service is top notch i will still be back and i'm aware the infection may be my fault but with piercings you have to be so careful with getting it done they can get infected so easy
