Lovely short walk take binocular

Very windy. Was raining. Walked to observation deck. Good 15 minute walk. No birds to be seen.

The road entrance is sandy, but can drive in and stop at carpark. It is very hot & dry when we arrived.

Peaceful spot to take in the beauty of the Coorong only 1 hour south of Meningie, trecking to Kingston S.E. Pelicans grace the skies.

Short 10 min walk from carpark info boards throughout the walk to observatory (shelted lookout) with info boards to learn more about the pelicans. Sand and rocky path up and down as you walk, but easy walk for those able.

Lovely place to stop on your drive. Good views. Explore the rocky beach covered in salt water dune plants. No toilet facilities. Nice short walk from the carpark.
