I took our cat Zoe to this vet for the first time today. The people there are very friendly very professional and very reasonable prices. The vet explained everything to me in detail and they were caring. I will definitely go back and refer them to my friends. Thanks so much for looking after our special family member regards Louis

Great service, affordable treatments, significant difference in cost compared to other clinics. Vets and nurses are all professional and lovely to deal with.

These people are godsend here. The receptionist was amazing and kept you updated if waiting. They had alot of last minute emergencies hence the bit longer wait time. I came in with my rat silver who I was certain I had to put to sleep but they did research and gave me options including surgery. They gave me affordable option and did so out of charity for my little guy. They didn't have to. These people are amazing and so is animal welfare your donations help my little man live when even I lost hope.

I took my dog to this vet because he had a mass on his voice box, saw an older male vet. He told me that my dog just had a large voice box. And was more interested in me getting a vacination that wasn't due. 6 months later I felt that the mass was slightly bigger. I took my dog back and was told again that my dog has a large voice box. I wanted a second opinion so I went to another vet. The new vet took a sample of the mass that same day. It was thyroid cancer. My dog had a scan done and the cancer had spread to his lungs. I was told that if I had have got a scan done slightly earlier it would not have spread to his lungs, and his throat would have been operated on. My dog died 2 months ago from cancer. As a teen I volunteered at AWL and now I will never go back there.

Positives: the veterinary staff are always friendly & helpful and do the best they can in an extremely busy environment. Negatives: it is impossible to get through by phone, several times I've had to hang on for over an hour, even in emergencys, on more then one occasion I have found some of the Reception staff abrupt and unfriendly, face to face and over the phone, and the last time I was there they even had a man in tears - he didnt deserve it and was not aggressive or rude in any way. I do understand it can be a difficult and challenging role in such a hectic and emotional environment, however a more understanding and compassionate attitude from some (not all) of the Reception staff would certainly be an improvement and appreciated.
