Secret Break

Animal Welfare League do a wonderful job. In my case they placed my cat with a foster carer for 10 days whilst I moved house.. Certainly helped me and Kitty through a stressful time. Billie was very helpful and went to extra efforts to be very helpful. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. Highly recommended by me and Kitty.!

One Staff member near the adoption section was so rude about us not noticing the "staff only sign" that was on the entry to the dog section that's usually always open. Seriously can management train this lady in general communication skills? Made us not want to adopt from this shelter with them bad vibes from the get go. Was on the 10/04/2021 around 12:30pm. She looked in her 20's with darkish blonde hair at Coombabah gold coast

Great place to find a new fur baby that needs a new home. Also the vet is great, staff are incredible but the one issue I have is with how busy it is at the vet there. When I took my puppy there last there was 2 small (unfriendly) dogs and 2 cats in the waiting area which made it difficult to keep my extremely social furbie calm. I'd rather wait outside than have any issues.

I have been going here on & off for years...You can be lucky one time & unlucky other times with staff....alot of them aren't very friendly & want to get rid of you as fast as they can...... I go there to the Op shop where volunteers are usually friendly & prices are very good... go there first if I want a dog or cat...prices are over the top for some of the animals but you never know with this place, so I always check it out first...

Unlike other reviewers I got through on the very first phone call and the booking was made quick and easy thanks to the staff member who answered. The vets and nurses were lovely as well as the reception staff, who had a calm and friendly manner (making a daunting first vet visit much easier). Our kitty is happy and healing well after her surgery and I'm very grateful for the discounted services. Thank you!
