Have been in Coolum a few days now and had dinner at Castro’s three times and each time it has been absolutely delicious and such great service! A special shout out to Lana our waiter for the few nights. Solid food. Solid service. Solid venue and one NOT to miss!! Thanks so much :)

Firstly, the quality of the pizzas we ordered for takeaway was fine. They tasted nice enough, but they aren'tmuch better than the most expensive frozen pizza you can buy at Coles or Woolies, and they don't come even close to the value and quality of our local pizza place. We ordered 3 pizzas and 1 box of chips for the grand total of 73. The pizzas are 10" in size and very light on toppings. A standard pizza hut or domino's pizza has more toppings. Compare these pizzas to our local gourmet pizza place, and these just look anorexic by comparison. See pic's. The super low score is purely based on the high price charged for a pizza that simply doesn't live up to expectations at this price point.

Had takeaway from here, spaghetti bolognese and cheese and garlic pizza. Some of the best food we have eaten. Not cheap but definitely worth the cost!

Best restaurant in Coolum. Everything on the menu is good. I particularly like the pizzas and the risotto. Staff are very friendly, prices are reasonable.

We just had the seafood Risotto, I don’t think I have ever had a better risotto. About dessert suspect it will be amazing as well.

The 1 star is for the drinks .... The food well no. ... salad went to the bin rotten lettuce leaves yuk .... The pizza couldn't eat it ... I reckon domino's would have been better and that's a first Sorry guys but your better than that I have been here a few times a couple years back and it was good.
