Attended for a boom lift scissor vertical lift licence at Rowville training centre and couldn’t be happier. Instructor had a great mix of explaining the required knowledge and mixed in the right amount of humour, keeping you attentive so the day flew by and with the information ready in my head to pass the test with out a hitch!! Equipment was impeccable and some of the best I’ve used and to top it off the training facility was impeccable and staff where very professional.... and all for the best price I could find for all 3 on the one ticket in 1 day !!

I have recently completed several courses with Construction Training Group. I found the trainers to be well-qualified, interesting materials with practical, real life examples used to illustrate points. The practical learning was enjoyable and well managed.
I did the Grand Job Seekers course with Construction Training Group. As I am new to the industry, it gave me a great base to start from. I now have my white card, first aid, CPR, plant management, traffic control, traffic management and spotters tickets. The trainers were all knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The office staff were also fantastic. Very helpful and efficient. I highly recommend coming here to learn anything construction.
Contacted them to re-do my plant tickets, as I’ve done many courses here before, you would think they would provide me the the most cost efficient way to update your tickets, person that answered the phone wasn’t helpfull to say the least and had little interest to the inquiry, I will now be taking my business and staff elsewhere. Very disappointing!
My best friend just asked me how the course was. I didn't know where to start. From top to bottom this whole course was great. Actually I wouldn't call it course. It is an experience that I will never forget. Besides the people I met today, the facility was just perfect. My father always told me that you can see how good a place is from how the bathrooms are looking like. But at this place not only the bathrooms were great. Everything was clean and on top of that there were sanitising stations in every single corner. I did bring a mask, but I saw that there were masks provided at the reception for people that didn't bring one. That brings me to the next point. The reception. The guy greeting me had a smile on his face and was very friendly. I already felt comfortable, even tho that in these times it is quite hard to make someone feel comfortable. So after that we were told to sit at the couches in the waiting area. They looked like they were brand new. The next step, that makes you feel more comfortable. The trainer Vel in there is an absolute LEGEND, so if you can, make sure to get him as your trainer. Not only his knowledge, but his experience and his character are simply amazing. He made the time pass by so quickly with his way of teaching us. Very easy going, but at the same time you knew that he was the trainer. To put it in a nutshell I highly highly recommend this place. Again from top to bottom everything works just perfectly in there. It is far from the city, but it's totally worth it. In the future I'll definitely come back and do more courses with this company. I'm very happy I chose Construction Training Group.
I just completed courses in traffic management and traffic control. I couldn't be happier with how prompt and the ease of the administration. The instructer was very knowledgeable, relatable and easy to understand. Such a great value for the courses that I travelled from the northern suburbs to the east just to attend. Highly recommended to anyone looking for training. I will definitely be coming back for future courses
Booked and completed their chainsaw course. The instructor was more interested in providing his personal opinions regarding issues in society and his own medical issues. We were only able to use the chainsaws individually for around 30 minutes and given it was a full day course, we spent it mainly on theory and not enough on practical. One of the chainsaws kept failing to start and again the instructor seemed more interested in making sure his cigarette was rolled than maintaining useable equipment.
I completed a forklift course and was impressed by the instructors , Kevin, knowledge and professional approach to instructing. Kevin went the extra mile to ensure all his students had the best opportunity at success.
