Went to this store with my husband on Fathers Day at 2.40pm to check out the various types of BBQs with a view to buying one for him. As soon as we went into the store the (presume) manager was tapping his watch at us telling us he had to be at an appointment by 3pm. As we don't get a lot of opportunity to shop together we continued in to look and the salesman was very helpful even though we could tell was under pressure to get us out. We ended up leaving at 2.55pm with the manager asking us if we knew what day it was! We would like to be able to spend our money locally but with an attitude like that we don't want to give them our money and will be going to another BBQs Galore store to check out the bbqs and may just buy online.

We went in to purchase a wood heater and all accessories. The owner served us. We chose a heater, flue kit, hearth and roof flashing. As we were spending a considerable amount of money, we asked for a deal. He went off to look at the figures. He came back with all the prices written down for us and went through them. He managed to save us about 405 off the 3000 price. We were happy and said yes. We got to the counter to pay and the owner hands it off to another sales person to order. This sales person tells us there is a problem and goes to speak to the owner again. The owner comes back and tells us that he made a mistake and won’t honour the price. He tried to tell us he now wanted an extra 200. We said he quoted us a fair price, all written down and we would like him to honour the price as we were ready to pay. He just flat out refused. We went to leave when he called us back and said he would meet us in the middle and take 100 more off. We went back to ask what he meant and he just told us the same price again in a different way. We asked where the extra 100 off was and he just said “No, forget that. This is what I can do, take it or leave it.” Needless to say we left it and went to Port Macquarie Barbeques Galore, who gave us the same price. I was happy to avoid dealing with the Coffs store and the arrogant owner. Huge thanks to the Port Macquarie staff. Do yourselves a favour and just go straight to Port for honest and friendly service.

My husband and I visited this store yesterday. We were looking to compare the Weber Baby Q and the Ziggy that we have recently heard rave reviews about. Brad helped us. We honestly coukd not have asked for better service. While they no longer have a range of weber on the floor, Brad knew all there was to know about the ZIGGYS. He was super friendly and answered all.out questions. By the time we left we were ready to buy one for every room of the house. Thanks Brad!!

Second time I have been in and been ignored, 1 staff member was talking to people that they appeared to know personally about boats etc, another staff member walked by but didn't look at me, me and another customer both left frustrated after waiting a while.

Would not recommend this store . We Paid 1350 for bbq only to have the handles melt , At 180’ outdoors !!! went in to see what they could do , not interested ! Referred me to the BBQ Galore website , state they are not actually BBQ Galore but independent operator . Strange the sign states BBQ Galore and my money was paid to BBQ Galore . No after sales service , they won’t see me again and I must say - They have a very short sighted , poorly thought out business plan . I recommend all stay well steer clear of this store

I have an old Norseman Wood Heater that was showing its age and not working very efficiently. I was looking at the new heaters. and described my problems to one of the staff members. He advised me that all my problems could be fixed and for 175 I now have a heater that works like new and is safe and efficient. Thanks guys you really know wood heaters!
