They never answer their phone, I called multiple times! I went in there, had an eye test with Louise who was absolutely brilliant however the Asian gentleman not so !! Appeared to have absolutely no idea what he was doing or about the products they sell. Kept saying he was “tired” bla bla! My eye test isn’t free, they’re paid for it. Terrible service, my first pair of glasses and a horrible experience! So many others to choose from thank goodness.

details - ok. Have been trying for two days now to contact Belmont sotre with no success. Left a message 2 hours ago and no response. Went to have a new eye test done because my contact lenses prescription was out of date. That went well. I have always had Biofinity Toric lenses for my left eye and Easy Vision Opteyes toric for my right because I have a stigmatism. Gosh, said the optometrist, you're wasting your money - just get the Biofinity Toric for the right eye as well, they're the same as the Opteyes. Well, they're not, they're thicker and don't mold to the eye properly and my vision was blurred - so, after spending money to buy 3 of his suggested ones, had to spend another 55 to buy my usual brand from Specsavers. Not happy at all

I never write reviews, however the unprofessional service at this company annoyed me in the first instance as the prescription was wrong on three attempts. Currently I still have classes that are not correct. For the icing on top, they have fallen apart, lenses fallen out and they scratched within a few months using a cleaning cloth and cleaner. I lack confidence in the staff level of competency. Back to Specsavers who have the right equipment to start with.
