I brought my SG here for a setup and to have the pickups checked out. I spoke briefly on the phone with Jereme before coming into the shop - I could already feel that this was the place to go for anything guitar! Love the workshop, it has a really nice and musical vibe that you can feel the second you walk in. I’m very impressed with the quality of the workmanship - my guitar plays wonderfully and I’ve never enjoyed playing it as much as I do now. The attention to detail of the staff is very evident. Really friendly service, and only a few short days to have my guitar ready for collection (much faster than basically all their competitors), all at a great price! Without a doubt the place to go for any guitar troubles or questions. Overall, I’m very happy and I will most definitely be back in future.

Clingan Guitar Tone is that place you go when you want to remove yourself from the hustle and bustle of your every day music/magic shop. The rustic bench tops and wall to wall stringed demons are soulful and heart-warming.. so-much-so that you begin your browse a little more at-ease; both with yourself, and with the world too. After leaving the store with my pristinely serviced v/pbass and echodek; I felt so brave and courageous.. that I even opened my mouth and spoke words to the people outside the door. The well warm neighbours, in the midst of enjoying a warm coffee and a hot time, laughed at my words and I smiled back as I commented on the Melbourne winter once more.. before readily leaving this truly stunning community to go home and slap my bass 'til he pops.. Thank you Jereme and co for always making my life so much easier, and for always knowing what I need.. when I can only see.. what I want. Molto bene. 5 stars.

This is such a lovely shop! I got my guitar repaired and set up here and had been a little intimidated beforehand of getting this done. Jereme was so knowledgeable, easy to talk to and really passionate about what he does. The cabinets full of vintage pedals and wall of guitars are an absolute treat.

Just had my 1966 Fender Bandmaster, and my 1970s Japanese solid state 'Stagemaster' amps, along with a couple of my old favorite pedals completely restored by Jereme and the team at Clingan Guitar Tone - and they sound FANTASTIC!!! Jereme's enthusiasm for the work shows in the quality of the finished product. Really careful and thorough work by someone who clearly loves his job - I cannot recommend highly enough. Over the past few years Jereme Clingan has made me a speaker cabinet, two amplifiers (they sound better than any amp I’ve previously owned) and a pedal board. He has realised my aspiration of creating a rig that has an original aesthetic: part art design, part rock ‘n roll. Added to this he is a wonderful bloke with whom I’ve enjoyed many leisurely chats about gear... and more gear!
