Possibly the best antique shop in melbourne: Staff are charming and knowledgeable, cats are friendly, and the products are of superb quality and reasonable price.

Just bought a set of ten fabulous regency chairs - great quality, great value and Roy organised an excellent fast upholstery to finish them in fabric that suites the new house. Amazed how much cheaper antiques are now than they used to be. And so often better than new furniture

Lovely French and English antiques, mostly 18th century. Roy Williams is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Roy has a broad and deep knowledge of antiques from around the world which he freely shares. I have visited Roy’s Antiques for almost 30 years and have bought quality pieces of furniture. It is always a pleasure to visit and talk with Roy and check out the stock throughout his store.

The place to go if you want quality. Roy has an impressive knowledge of furniture. He's the go to person for tsarist Russian silver too. The shop is easy to find - on the tram line and near McDonald's.

I went to this business to get my family heirloom diamond ring restored. I handed over my ring worth thousands of dollars and asked for a quote. I never got a quote, I was instead contacted a couple of weeks later notifying me that my ring had been restored (without my approval) and that the cost was 500. I managed to negotiate the price and luckily I did because one week later a diamond fell out of the ring. I called the business owner who said she would have to speak to the jeweller who restored it (apparently she is not the jeweller!) Years later and my ring has just split on the band. I’m jaded by this experience and feel unable to trust jewellers. Don’t give this business your money or your precious jewels.
