Fascinating and very peaceful
Came here for an excursion with my Gr 4 class and it was fantastic. The Uni had great presenters and the kids loved the day. We looked at all the rocks and used the 'proper' equipment. The kids felt like real scientists! The garden is very interactive and engaging for kids.
A wide variety of different rock types. Not to climbed on and sign posting is limited. Targetted at geology students not the general public

Great place to spend some time learning about Victoria's geology. Design is interesting, well set out, and engaging.
