This is a quiet station, that is often by-passed by express trains. It does have toilets, warm waiting rooms and an official person in the ticket office. NOTE - always double check which platform your destination departs from; often it is counterintuitive. There is also a book exchange in the waiting rooms. The only thing that prevents a 5 star rating is the lack of car parks. There is also an occasionally connecting bus service to Romsey and Lancefield.
