Attended the Perth Caravan and Camping Show today at the Claremont Showgrounds. Very easy to get to by train as the showgrounds station is right next door. The showgrounds are made up of a large open oval area with basically no shade (take a hat) surrounded by a number of pavilions. Plenty of food outlets around the place and toilets. Enjoyed the day and the showgrounds was a great setting. Will plan better with sun shade etc and water if I attend another event here.

Lots of happy memories here. The 2020 Spring fair was great and the Scarecrows recycled project by primary schools were great. The Animal nursery was the best, loved by all the kids!
Caravan and camping show was very good. Getting in a different story. Cashless. Only way in if u hadn't downloaded tickets. Was to do it there. So lots of people trying to scan the code. Admittedly the staff were patient and very good with older generation. This included me.
The Diwali Mela which was held over here is just fabulous. Look at the fireworks. They have all the basic facilities in this ground like clean toilet, and one can hire chairs, the best part is that the ground is just a minute away from Showgrounds train station.
Went for the caravan and camping show. Easy parking. It was a great day out. So clean
Good parking facilities. Easy access by train from the city. Camping and caravaning show was a bit ho hum.
Came here for cubing competition. Parking is free convenient and easy to access on a Saturday morning. Big area so have a good map of all the different sections
Whether it's Caravan and Camping or The Perth Royal Show, always a great day out at Claremont Showgrounds.
