I am never a "salad" person, nor do I ever eat tofu despite having been vegan for over 5 years- but this place has the MOST fulfilling, FRESH, HUGELY-PORTIONED (NOT 90% oil, unlike most cheap-y, depressive places) food I've eaten IN YEARS. They use the freshest produce and tons of non-fatty condiments and fresh rice (under the photos attached- not visible). The most warm, inarticulably accommodative staff, too- it feels so cushioning to go here. Alice, the female chef is unbelievably kind and thorough, and Graeme (manager) is one of the most personable people I've met. I can't understand why anybody (sincerely, no bias) would say anything unappreciative because this place is one of the best in New South Wales, to eat at. THE PRICING is incredibly low and affordable, for HEARTY, NON-OILY, ridiculously FRESH (constantly driving around to pick up local produce, daily) FLAVOURSOME, nutritious, hot food. I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. Anyone and everyone would eat healthy if they could discover going to Gyusha.

We tried this fabulous restaurant today for the first time, we found the service to be excellent the food absolutely fabulous the vibe in the restaurant was lovely the quality and freshness of the meat and vegetables to be of very high standard, I don’t rate many places but this was deserving of 5 stars and we will definitely be going here many more times, the value for money must be mentioned as well they do an excellent 38 all you can eat menu I highly recommend.

Horrible manager, SO RUDE! On his mobile phone the whole time, ignoring customers and when I stood up to ask to order was yelled at “jUst SiT”!! Food looked terrible and overpriced. Avoid at all cost.

This restaurant is a real gem. The quality of produce is extraordinary. Graham - the host puts you at ease very quickly. His knowledge of food and wine is unparalleled. Great value for money, and i had a waygu doggy bag to take home.

I would have given Gyusha a 5 star for the quality of beef alone if it wasn’t for the sassy, sarcastic, condescending caucasian server, who seems to be the manager as well. Definitely did not get a warm service and explains things like we didn’t know how to read in english. He seems more accomodating towards other white customers. Sorry, but that is the overall vibe that our whole group got when we dined in. Otherwise, the food was great. Lose the attitude and we will come back for sure.

I love eating here. Their wagyu beef and karaage chicken is amazing and service is top notch. I would highly recommend Gyusha and will definitely be back with my friends! Best yakiniku restaurant in Sydney!
