First time dining at Chez Pascal French Restaurant and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Chef Pascal is an entertaining character and added to the lovely atmosphere. The food was divine, flavourful and rich. Will definitely be back again.

Valentine's set menu was a real letdown. Not worth the money we paid pp. Ambience was quite awkward too. Won't be returning, pretty disappointed because it seems like the regular menu has great reviews. Would have thought for a special evening we'd get a fantastic menu and quality food, didn't happen.

Have known about this restaurant for a while and finally had the chance to visit and it did not disappoint. My partner and I were thoroughly impressed as we both felt that Chef Philippe provides an authentic French dining experience. What we loved was that instead of ordering from a physical menu, the lovely waitress reads the menu from a board she shuffles from table to table explaining each dish. Entrees, we ordered the gratinee and escargots both exceptional full of flavour. Mains were the beef cheeks and an off the menu item veal & crayfish. The beef as you would expect, melted in your mouth. The veal/crayfish, both soft accompanied with roast potatoes and veggies. Dessert, was the pudding chocolate and apple crepe. The choc was delightful and creamy and the crepe, generous in size and you can really taste the calvados! Loved the vibe of the restaurant which has that authentic French feeling about it. And finally, Chef Philippe was amazing as he floats between the kitchen and the dining room checking on guests with larger than life demeanour. 5 stars and absolutely we will be back!

The place is quaint. It's a little confusing as you are taken to your table and then sit there waiting for the menu. It would work better if it was explained at the time of being seated at the table they were bringing out a poorly written children's chalk board. We asked the lovely young waitress if we could get a menu who then informed us another waitress will attend to it. The menu presented on lovely oversized board but seams like unnecessary waist of time and effort. However the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The let down was the food. Got one potato and couple of beans with delicious steak that was ruined by the copious amounts of sauce that had jarred garlic. Jarrred garlic is a no no in a restaurant that charges significant amount for the meal like this place did The reason the place got the second star was the bottle of red. It's a byo restaurant.

Never a dull moment in Chez Pascal! The food is always divine here & the fabulous decour & pleasant French music in the background just add to the dining experience, the venue is BYO so if your in the mood for alcohol you can bring anything you like. The owner & chef is a tremendously friendly man who always takes the time to make his way around the restaurant to make conversation and make sure you're enjoying your meal. Always a brilliant dining experience every time!

I contacted Chef Philippe with an enquiry about an 'off the menu' French dish that was particularly special to me and Philippe could not have been more enthusiastic about ensuring he would make me the best possible version of it for me to enjoy. On the night of our booking that dish was put on the menu, specially for us! How often do you get personal service like that? We enjoyed a wonderful evening with so many additional delicious choices. I almost had to be rolled out of there at the end of the night because there were too many good options to pass up. Philippe himself is absolutely charming with a bigger than life personality. He clearly loves what he does and cares for his customers and the dishes he prepares for them, exemplified by how often he comes out of the kitchen to walk the floor and meet and greet all of his patrons during the evening. I would highly recommend a visit. Thank you Chef! It was a night to remember.

Could this be the most authentic French cuisine in NSW, or even Australia? I sure think so
