The staff are lovely and happy to help but almost a little too much to the point where it feels uncomfortable and overwhelming to take your time and look at things - specifically within the perfume section at Chermside and this has happened on multiple occasions. Within 5 minutes my friend and I were asked 3 times if we needed help to which we politely responded we were just browsing for a friends gift. The last 2 times were from the same lady and she proceeded to hover around us in the aisle after we had said we did not need any assistance; it was as if she was suspicious of us and our intentions and made us quite uncomfortable. Furthermore the lady pointed out that we were looking at men’s perfume as if we had no idea and were not reading the labels, which came across as slightly condescending. We did appreciate the customer service but felt it was overbearing and a bit too much in this particular section of the store.
Biggest and best MYER north of the river. Easy to find, easy to use. Every shop, up market or otherwise you could ever want. Great food options. Go have a look
I was kicked out for helping my wife zip up her dress she was trying on. Somehow a man in a cubicle with his own partner is not allowed. Ridiculous service.
Visited Myer Chermside last Saturday to buy a gift I had seen online, a Waterford Crystal vase. Asked a nice young lady at the till, Phoebe, if they had particular item and she not only showed me where the item was but helped me get it from the shelf. Phoebe opened the box to check the vase was perfect and made the sale. Great customer service with a lovely smile. Thank you Phoebe. Thank you Myer.
This is a nice big department store, and one of the originals here at Westfield Chermside. Certainly one of the landmarks here for decades. It's great to see it's still going strong even with all the extra competition that's now around it. Three spacious levels with ample high quality products from all the best brands, and great service from the lovely helpful staff.
4hrs free parking and a great variety of gifts, make Myers great to wonder through and shop at.
Very busy today due to the weather, Easter and coming out of a lockdown however, people were adhering to the rules( wearing masks and social distancing) and all purchases were bought without delay...
