Outstanding Service I noticed our hot water unit stopped working and water was flowing out the top at 7:00pm at night. I found Cheapa Hot Water via Google and at first wasn't sure because of the name, but I sent them an email and they called me first thing in the morning, had 2 people over here 30 minutes later and then I had a brand new hot water unit fully installed 2 hours after that. They needed to remove the door frame of our manhole to get the existing hot water unit out and the new one in and they were able to do this without damaging it and re-installed it just like it was. Outstanding service. I would highly recommend them.

This mid January, Cheapa Hot Water had a regular checkup for my heater and replaced the TPR valve which charged me 240. Although I was not satisfied with the replacement at that time because the old one was working perfectly, it is fine as long as the new one is all good, I thought. However, it is not all good. I didn’t realise an issue until early July my neighbour told me that the heater was leaking outside from the pipe connecting to TPR valve. I monitored and found it was leaking 24/7 all days. Obviously this issue had been there for a while, and it reminded me that the electricity and water bill amount is much higher than before. I called your company to check this issue. At first, Your guy said it was not related to the valve and even if it’s related, it’s out of warranty. I was so surprised at your irresponsible answer. Later, your guy came to check and concluded it was thermostat fault. Then it was a quote 360 to replace the part. I didn’t accept that offer. What your customer service concerned was just trying to charge me another call-out fee 88. Finally it proves to be the TPR valve quality issue and now the leaking has been fixed by replacing a new good one. I’m strongly dissatisfied with Cheapa Hot Water's service in the whole process, including the first install, the warranty and the second check. Based on that, I strongly doubt the professionalism for some of your guys. I complained and requested refund via phone and email, but have never got any response, and your guys try to pretend nothing happened. Summary: What a doggy plumber company, lots of gimmicks and no service at all. I would not recommend Cheapa Hot Water to anyone to avoid being cheated. Actually they should be called Cheater Hot Water !!!

Highly recommend! Fast, professional and perfect job from start to finish. Our water heater was leaking and we wanted to buy another one. John checked the warranty and figured out it was still under warranty and ordered a new one for us. The new water heater was here within an hour. Dario came less than couple of hours and installed it. The whole job took less than 5 hours from the first call. All of them were talented, polite and professional. Could not ask for more. Surprised by the great service they offered. Thank you guys!

My household was miserable with water barely above tepid in the depths of winter. My normal plumber found my solar hot water system had failed and recommended I find a solar specialist. My other option was to isolate the gas back-up to work without the solar. I tried a number of solar water specialists who didn’t work with my system (Endless Solar) and left multiple messages with the system’s head office before finding Cheapa Hot Water and emailing them on a Friday afternoon - with very low expectations based on my experience to that point. Their operative arrived before lunchtime Monday, ran diagnostics showing complete knowledge of the system and the issues with it and fixed everything immediately. Everything was done well from negotiating parking in my tricky street so no one would be inconvenienced to explaining to me how to avoid problems in future. Any complaints? Well, they didn’t say, “You seem like a nice lady. This one’s on the house.” But I’m more than satisfied I got my money’s worth. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I've used Cheapa Hot Water (at both my old address and now current one) Steve arrived at my house 40 mins after my phone call, he organised a new system and it was installed and we had hot water once I got home from work, old system removed and disposed of. Friendly, professional, easy and competitively priced! Would definitely recommend.

I contacted Cheapa Hot Water after contacting 3 other hot water service companies this morning and getting little assistance. I wish I had contacted Cheapa Hot Water first. I rang and spoke to John at 9.45am to get our leaking solar system checked. By midday the whole job had been completed by Dario who was prompt, professional and very polite. He took photos of the before and after. We were given exceptional customer service and attention to detail. The pricing was reasonable and acceptable for what needed to be done. I very much recommend you call this company first.
