An idyllic bush setting, perfect for a picnic or overnight stay. Some well maintained walks, a historic home site and a history of welcoming visitors and encouraging conservation make this a must see destination. All within an hour of Hobart. Do yourself a treat and have a look for some of Nan Chauncy's stories to get the full experience.

Very different landscape from other walks we have done. Certainly very dry and rocky. Would be snake paradise in the summer, but it was a sunny winter day that we went so it was lovely. There are lots of variety of landscape throughout the walk, plenty to keep us busy. Eve's Bath at the bottom of the gully was a lovely spot to chill. There is also BBQ and picnic facilities on site.

Good tracks easy or hard depending on your path. We did a bit of a climb up around the rocks.

Three families visited and were all delighted with this place. It has been kept in such a natural state. Kids loved it. Sought some assistance from the Caretaker and she was very helpful, inviting and friendly. A great place to visit.
