Lads there are absolute legends!! I am having a fishing rod custom built for my partner, and I think she will LOVE it. Photos will be put up once complete. This unit is a 13 ft beach rod, have two of now and they matched to great Daiwa reels, so impressed with the time these boys took to make sure I had the right outfit and the right outcome for my needs.
Always find they lads at Charltons very helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve not walked out disappointed with anything I’ve purchased from them and will be my go to store from now on.
best fishing store in Brisbane hands down! their product selection and product knowledge is unmatched, it may look small on the outside but once you walk in you will be like a kid and a lollie shop! massive range of soft plastic and lures, tackle for days and a great selection of good quality rods and reels.. the prices are super competitive with the big stores, but they have something the big stores don't, good old fashion friendly service, product knowledge and fishing tips. the guys here are always up for a chat and thats why I keep coming back!
This place is 1 hour drive from my place , but my friend recommended me to check out this place as they have better range of Okuma stuff. I asked to purchase a 3000 size Okuma inspira reel , the staff ordered me a ISX -30B , it’s actually a 2000 size reel , no wonder it looked smaller than my Stradic 3000 ....and I was recommended to put on 20lb PE line on this tinny reel( latter I changed to 16lb ) , now I have to buy another new 3000 reel and new spool of line ! So frustrated!

Best fishing store in Brisbane. It is literally packed with awesome lures, reels, rods, and terminal tackle. The staff are well informed and always friendly.
