Unfortunately we arrived in town a bit late for the guided tour however we did go through the interactive base. Sam and the Canadian gentleman (we didn't quite catch his name) were great. They gave us a quick run through some of the WW2 history, as well as a bit of general town history, heads up on other interesting local landmarks and helped us book further attractions! Would definitely recommend, can't wait to see what stage 2 & 3 of the base will entail.

This was a great find. We went on the morning tour of the base. Sam, our guide, was very friendly and informative. We really enjoyed it. The new interactive museum was also very interesting!

Interesting to find out about, but only limited actual ruins etc. to see. Quality of your experience appears to determined by which your guide you get.

This is now a great interactive museum on the corner of QANTAS Dr on the way to the Royal Flying Doctors. We were one of their first visitors (they had only been open for 3 hours). Really interesting history and the interactive displays are really engaging. Only phase 1 of the museum is complete, but it was well worth the visit.

The attraction is reasonably new and has some great displays but is still a work in progress. Didn't do the tour.
