Upmarket Chinese restaurant in Chadstone Shopping Centre, located where Gap used to be. The decor is modern and classy with a elevated view out the large windows. The food is a bit different from the normal Chinese fare, with a northern Chinese influence. The service of the food was a little slow, but all the dishes we ordered came out together. The dishes were well presented and tasty.

Great restaurant where you can make a bookings, fancy yum cha that is the next level of the standard. Each serve is a little more pricey than the usual however with good reason. Overall a great visit!
same same but different.. I would most probably head in again to try other dishes to make up my mind. Price point very similar to secret kitchen.. location in the burbs bit more accessible. however for a standard affair... how often would you really go to places like this to pay 9 for 3 prawn dumplings?? not everyone’s cup of tea.. good luck to them if they can sustain this.
Fancy yum cha spot, dim sums are well presented. They use premium ingredients for some dishes such as abalone, gold and caviar. Down side is their tables are small, when you order quite a few dim sums there’s not enough room for the food. Management definitely need to consider replacing them. Nice restaurant for special occasions.
Yumcha at it's best! Done very beautiful and delicious
I didn't try the pre-order duck. All dishes I had are very very salty. The taste not worth the money. Service was ok. one extra star for service and atmosphere.
This is not a place for traditional Chinese food but a place for creation with nice atmosphere and service The food is not super impressive however it worth trying
I went to Yu Kitchen for yum cha for the very first time, and I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the foods. Their dishes were simply over-priced, and they definitely do not taste as good as one would expect from an upmarket restaurant. The worst one was the 16 bird nest custard egg tart, which meant to be one of their signature dishes. I was shocked with the presentation of the egg tart when it was brought to my table. If that piece of egg tart was presented at a MasterChef competition, they would have been eliminated with no question asked.
