Amazing breakfast. I had the usual scrambled eggs with a macchiato. There were two options (chorizo & mediterranean veg). Took chorizo and it was a delight. Also the Pink Floyd stamp on the wall :D

We stayed in Cessnock about a month ago and this cafe was hands down the best breakfast place. So much variety and options and very big meals, with what we still call the best caramel milkshake ever. We went on our first day, then another local cafe the second day and came right back here the third. Would definitely return :)

Attended for lunch. Excellent service, friendly staff. Had toasted wraps and loaded fries. Very tasty. Has a toilet on premises too. Looks good, tastes good, welcoming.
So many choices, both for sweet lovers are savory lovers. All was delicious. The drinks, the food... the Belgian waffles are as good as in Belgium! Perfect breakfast place for your Hunter valley weekend.
so understanding, it was a miserable Sunday, Cessnock full of Midnight Oil concert goers who'd stayed over and they were under the pump. We came back later on afte the breakfast rush and weren't disappointed. Fantastic food and coffee. The best customer service I've had in a long, long time.
We were in the area for one night and needed to find a good breakfast spot for our fairly large two family group (11 of us total) so we weren't holding our breath with COVID limitations and small cafe's seeming to be the only option. Doing a quick search for options (and the great reviews) brought us to Grinders and 3 outdoor tables opened up that we could use so we gave it a shot and all I can say is the reviews are accurate. Great spot with friendly/helpful staff (despite a VERY busy Sunday morning crowd) and fantastic assortment of breakfast items. Our group had everything from pancakes, to french toast, to bacon egg rolls and everything was delicious. Coffee's were great and special mention of the Fruit Smoothies..incredible!!! Definitely be back if we find ourselves back in the area.
