The wait time has decreased significantly compared to a few years ago, the security guard is quite nice. Centrelink in general however took over 11 months to process the fact I have a mental illness. Whole time they're trying to make me go to a job provider which cancels my appt that I waited 11 months for. Anyways it's sorted, but the background service could be a lot better. Not the fault of this centre but management as a whole. Hence the four star rating

Hands up all of those that have seen the child's movie Zootopia? The sloths in the movie resemble the staff that work there. I walked into the office to hand in a medical certificate. I was told to go online and scan the document, but if you choose this option you can be guaranteed; that they won't receive it! You will have a two hour wait at the least, whilst staff members stand around the photocopy machine, appearing to look busy and walking around with paper in their hand. Other times they are having a chat around their computers discussing what they had for lunch and if clients get upset due to the wait times. We are considered to be rude and impatient, because these public servants are overworked and understaffed. Ipswich is by far the worst department that you will have to deal with. They are horrendous and you would be better off going elsewhere. (It might be worth the drive).
staff is very accommodating, keep up the good job.
Extremely long waiting times, The workers were mostly good, except when i had to see one of the supervisors, she said i would require a medical certificate from a treating doctor to prove my illness after having had the same lifelong illness and receiving payments for 10 years and continued regular doctors visits. Not only that but her disrespectful attitude and talking down to me with her lack of education on my condition was frustrating at best.
I’ve called this line 4 times only to get to then & they say they can’t help me & hang up. Perthetic
Very helpful staff. Great level of knowledge.
Prepare to wait))))) i just don't understand there are so many tables for staff members, but only 3-4 people actualy working :D and 50 customers are waiting on the other side. Think need some improvements in the system, so people can do all their stuff online, not sitting there for hours trying to extend medicare or something.
