We had some old car batteris llying around the farm so in doing a clean up we decided to get rid of them, so contacted Mick from central west scrap metal and took the batteries into the yard on Monday 8th July, 2019 ,we were told by Mick that they can no longer pay cash so he would deposit the 130.56 into our account that afternoon and it would be there the next day, it did not show up in the account on the Tuesday so we gave him until Friday before calling Mick. We called him on Friday 12th July, 2019 and left a message as he did not answer I also sent him a text message only to be given the excuse of I don't know the Commonwealth bank have had issues and my workers never got paid either Mick said it would be sorted out that day. On Tuesday 16th July , 2019 I called Mick twice and left a message on both occasions, he did not call back so I called him again at 6:30pm only to be given another excuse of being in meetings all day and he is going back to the office now and would look at the paperwork and call me back, he never called back. Therefore, today being Wednesday 17th July, 2019 my Husband is going to call Mick ,if it is not rectified we will take it further. We believe that Central Scrap Metal and Mick are nothing short of rip off merchants and you would be much better off taking your business elsewhere , unless you want to be ripped off.
