Don’t do it. After 2 months and more than two thousand dollars spent on supplements (this doesn’t include consultations or reports which are another two grand or so), I’ve come to realise that supplements is BIG business. The review prior to mine complained about the lack of disclosure in relation to fees. Well, these people are also very quick to call you for credit card details. My experience has been shocking. Half an hour after a consult, I get a phone call to request payment over the phone and when I asked for an invoice, I received what was obviously a pre-prepared invoice including supplements I hadn’t asked for yet. I asked for a correct invoice only to receive a phone call 5 mins later insisting credit card payment over the phone – still no correct invoice at this stage. I didn’t realise that “same day payment” meant I would be forced to pay over the phone. By the way, I doubt it is legal for them to compel me to pay without a correct invoice but they have not responded to my request for an explanation. At a time when one has been diagnosed with a serious illness and at your most vulnerable, you need to work with professionals who genuinely care about your health and well-being, not those that create unnecessary stress with heavy handed tactics. Look elsewhere for professionals that care, there are plenty of very good naturopaths out there that can help. By the way, please check the prices for the supplements online first. And speak to your doctor as well about the implications of all these supplements and your body's ability to process them in conjunction with conventional treatment.

A very disappointing experience. I was told that the initial consultation is 180. What I was not told is that it is not a consultation but a history taking session by the naturopath. At the end of it, not even one recommendation was made. I was told that the naturopath would now do a report which would cost 450. This report would contain details of treatment. I was not made aware of this at the time of booking the appointment. I fail to understand why a client has to pay for simple history taking and get absolutely nothing out of it. This made me wary of pursing any treatments with them as transparency about costs is a very important factor , especially at a very difficult time in someone's life. I would recommend clients ask the clinic upfront about what they are likely to get for the money they spend.

A friend who had gone through cancer recommended MIOG to me when I was diagnosed with a recurrence of my breast cancer last year. Tanya supported me through both my radiation treatment and mastectomy with diep flap reconstruction. Radiation I breezed through and even though I felt like I'd been hit by a truck after surgery I was well prepared and have healed very well. I feel very held, supported and heard here. I can also recommend the Oncology massage, being a former Massage Therapist myself I was impressed and relaxed with my treatment. Thank you MIOG for your professionalism and support.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in April last year. Tanya Wells and her team were recommended to me by a friend who had had great success with naturopathy that complimented cancer treatment. Since day one I have been most impressed with the knowledge and professional yet empathetic manner in which the MIOG team conduct themselves. I felt like I was well armed for treatment and my side effects as a result were greatly decreased. The oncology nurses were surprised with how well I coped with treatment. Since then I have recommended quite a few people to MIOG and they have not been disappointed.
